Baggallini Hobo Tote Bag Product Review
What a surprise! Yesterday I received a box in the mail from my sister and inside was a cool Baggallini hobo bag. I just love it! And plenty of other people like this hobo bag, too. On Amazon, this style of Baggallini bag has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars.
This bag is going to be my go to purse. I tend to use a purse till it literally is falling apart and plan for this nylon bag to hold up better than most. I can tell it’s well made and roomy–two pluses in my book!
Pros:
First off, I love the style of this Baggallini hobo bag. I love the shape and look of a hobo bag; it’s like a happy letter C on its side. It’s roomy and will hold everything I need to take with me wherever I go.
This tote has pockets everywhere. This is another plus because it helps keep stuff organized. Here’s the rundown of the compartments:
- inside pockets: 5 slots for credit cards or IDs, 2 ink pen pockets and 2 larger pockets, all on the inside of the bag
- outside pockets: 4 roomy pockets
The bag has a zippered closure securing everything inside.
A small zippered bag is attached inside (it’s sewn into the bag) and is so secure. I can see using this for keys or anything else you have that tends to fall out.
My Baggallini hobo style tote bag with bright yellow lining. Things won’t get lost in there like when the inside of a bag is dark.
There is a zipper on the outside of the back of the bag (opposite the metal tag, which I’m calling the front of the bag). When you open this zipper, that pocket opens up and you can slip the bag onto the handle of your luggage. Sounds like a handy feature to me if you travel a lot.
In fact, the Baggallini line of bags was designed with travel in mind to keep us organized in style.
The adjustable strap is nylon and easy to make longer or shorter depending on how you want to wear it or carry it.
Cons:
Well, I haven’t used this bag much so don’t know of many things I don’t like about it yet, but one thing I would have done differently is to add a velcro or other closure to the outside pockets. They are open so I won’t put anything valuable in them.
Um, my sister chose this Baggallini bag for me and even though I like it, I would have gone with a different color. The gray is nice but I would have gone with a brown or khaki, I think. There are tons of colors to choose from in their wide selection of bags.
Wish List:
I’d have chosen a different color if I had my druthers, but this is just fine!
Longevity:
I will keep you posted on how well this purse holds up.
The Bottom Line:
For a practical, sturdy bag, I think the Baggallini is going to be a great one!
